HÜDA PAR responds directly to 'candidate withdrawal' reports

Arriving in Bitlis, Yapıcıoğlu spoke at his party's provincial headquarters and said that cries for help are rising from Gaza once again today.

Stating that there are many martyrs and wounded in the attacks, Yapıcıoğlu expressed that Israel continues its massacres and genocides right before the eyes of the world.

Noting that their presence in Parliament causes discomfort and that this is openly expressed, Yapıcıoğlu said:

"Now they are uncomfortable with us entering the election. There are those who are uncomfortable with us being in an alliance. Now they are uncomfortable with us entering the election alone. We see no harm in their discomfort. We will never allow you to disturb the nation with certain games played over us. We will render your games and provocations void, just as we have done before.

Despite their ugly, hostile, polarizing, and conflict-driven rhetoric, we will stubbornly and persistently continue to sow seeds of brotherhood, peace, and goodness wherever we go. We have always said it, and we say it again: There is an election ahead of us. We are going to elections, not to war. Everyone must be careful with the language they use. Political parties are each other's political rivals, not enemies."

Stating that they have mayoral candidates in 81 provinces and 666 districts and that claims regarding their party withdrawing candidates are untrue, Yapıcıoğlu noted the following:

"We call out to our citizens: We did not nominate candidates to withdraw them. We will put forth our best effort to win the election everywhere we have nominated candidates. While making this effort, we will never become ugly, we will not harden our tone, and we will not fall into anyone's trap. 

We will conduct our politics. We are running an election campaign by sharing only ourselves, our projects, our perspective on politics, our understanding of local government, and what we will do and want to do when we win local administrations with our nation. We will continue to conduct our campaign along this line. I wish for the elections and their results to be beneficial for our nation in advance. Hopefully, in this election we have entered across Turkey, we will increase the votes we received in previous elections several times over."
