HÜDA PAR rift in AKP: 'It's coming from within, not from the partners'
Journalist Murat Yetkin, in his article titled "Cracks in the People's Alliance, HÜDA PAR, restoring the reputation of a torturer, and the Constitutional Court," addressed the message on autonomy delivered by HÜDA PAR from the parliamentary podium. Yetkin stated that the 'cracking sounds' are coming from within.
Journalist Murat Yetkin reported in his article today that naming a school after Esat Oktay Yıldıran has caused harsh reactions from within the AKP.
Yetkin stated that while the candidate selection process for the local elections is ongoing, cracking sounds have been heard within the People's Alliance, and said the following:
"THE REASON FOR THE CRACKING..."
"The discussion that began with HÜDA PAR leader Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu taking the podium to support the AK Party's 2024 budget and stating that the Turkish Grand National Assembly should discuss transitioning to a state system, Kurdish autonomy, and a federation, is not the only reason for the cracking sounds coming from the fault lines in the People's Alliance."
HARSHES REACTION FROM MIROĞLU
Reminding that the name of Esat Oktay Yıldıran, one of the torturers of the September 12 era, was given to a school in İzmir, Yetkin used the following expressions: "AK Party MKYK member Orhan Miroğlu, who himself suffered from the torture of Yıldıran and his team in Diyarbakır prison during that period, was among those who showed the harshest reaction. The cracking sounds in the People's Alliance were coming from within, not from the partners."
