İbrahim Paşalı has been appointed to head the board of trustees at Halk TV. Paşalı, who previously worked as a columnist for the Yeni Şafak newspaper and hosted programs on TVNET, has recently come to the fore with trustee appointments to various media organizations. After Flash Haber and EkoTürk, Paşalı served in the management processes of Habertürk, Show TV, and Bloomberg HT, and later headed the board of trustees appointed to TELE1.
SERVED IN MEDIA ORGANIZATIONS
The number of media organizations where İbrahim Paşalı has been appointed as a trustee has increased with decisions taken within the scope of various investigations.
A trustee was appointed to Flash Haber following an illegal betting and money laundering investigation conducted against the channel's owner, Erkan Kork. Paşalı was also appointed to the channel's management during this process.
Paşalı also headed the board of trustees at EkoTürk, whose management was seized within the scope of the Papara investigation.
Following the investigation into Can Holding, with the changes in the management processes of Habertürk, Show TV, and Bloomberg HT, Paşalı's name also appeared in the new management structure of these media organizations.
Paşalı later assumed the chairmanship of the board of trustees appointed to TELE1, owned by Merdan Yanardağ. The decision regarding the channel's management was taken on October 24, 2025.
With the latest appointment to Halk TV, a new media outlet has been added to those where Paşalı serves as a trustee.

İbrahim Paşalı, who has worked as a poet, columnist, radio programmer, and television presenter, previously wrote for Milli Gazete and Yeni Şafak. He prepared and presented a program titled “Makam Arabası” on TVNET, which is part of the Yeni Şafak group.
Paşalı has published books titled “İstanbul Kriterleri” (Istanbul Criteria), “Öğle Uykusu” (Afternoon Nap), and “Entelektüellerin Hurafeleri” (Superstitions of Intellectuals).
Known for his column writing and television programming, Paşalı has also come to the fore in recent years with the roles he has undertaken in trustee appointments to media organizations. With the appointment to Halk TV, a new one has been added to the media organizations where Paşalı serves.
