Identity of dismembered male body found in Pendik identified
The identity of the male body that was dismembered and discarded in a trash container in Pendik has been determined. The body was identified as 79-year-old Nihat Salih.
In Pendik's Dumlupınar Neighborhood, a dismembered male body was found in a trash container this morning following a report by a citizen who went to take out the trash.
Police and crime scene investigation teams, who launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident, examined the containers and collected the head and other body parts. The identity of the body, which was determined to have been cut into 8 pieces, has been established.
The body was identified as 79-year-old Nihat Salih.
Meanwhile, his daughter, who arrived at the scene upon hearing the news, was overcome with grief.
