IETT bus crashes into building wall
An IETT bus lost control while traveling in the Kartal district and crashed into the wall of a building on the road, leaving six passengers injured. Emergency teams arrived at the scene quickly to provide initial medical intervention before transporting the injured to hospitals.
In an incident that occurred in the evening hours on Ankara Street in the Kordonboyu neighborhood, the IETT bus with license plate 34 HO 3180, driven by A.Y., lost control for an as-yet-unknown reason after the driver lost steering control and crashed into the wall of a building. Due to the impact, six passengers inside the bus sustained various injuries.
After noticing the accident, local citizens reported the situation to the emergency call center. Health, police, fire, and UMKE teams arrived at the scene in a short time and provided the first intervention to the victims on-site. Six of the injured were taken to the nearest hospitals by ambulance for more comprehensive examinations and treatment.
While police teams took security measures at the scene of the accident, a detailed investigation was launched to determine the exact cause of the crash.
