An interesting dialogue took place at Olcay Baykal's funeral between Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the CHP chairmanship as a precautionary measure following a decision of absolute nullity, and AKP member Savcı Sayan.

In the mosque courtyard, Sayan said, "If you had listened to me the night I dropped you off at home, none of this would have happened. You shouldn't have followed Önder Bey," to which Kılıçdaroğlu replied "Thank you" several times before quickly getting into his vehicle and leaving the area.

A funeral ceremony was held at the Ankara Karşıyaka Mosque following Friday prayers for Olcay Baykal, the wife of Deniz Baykal, who passed away at the age of 88 in the hospital where she was receiving treatment in Antalya.

In addition to the Baykal family and their relatives, the ceremony was attended by CHP leader Özgür Özel, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Muharrem İnce, DSP Chairman Önder Aksakal, CHP executives, members of parliament, mayors, and representatives of various political parties.

Kılıçdaroğlu was the first to arrive at the area where the funeral prayer was to be held, and he shook hands with Özel, who arrived shortly after. Following the funeral prayer, Olcay Baykal's body was taken to the State Cemetery. Baykal was laid to rest next to her husband, Deniz Baykal, who passed away on February 11, 2023.

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: I am well, I am well. Thank you very much.

Savcı Sayan: If you had listened to me the night I dropped you off at home, none of this would have happened.

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: Anyway, health is what matters.

Savcı Sayan: You shouldn't have followed Önder Bey.

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: Thank you, thank you.

Savcı Sayan: I told you that night.

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: Thank you, thank you.

Following this dialogue, Kılıçdaroğlu quickly got into his vehicle and left the area.
