İliç Mine Accident Research Commission conducts inspection at the mine site
The Parliamentary Research Commission on the İliç Mine Accident, which began its work in Erzincan, toured the mine site and conducted inspections.
Erzincan Governor Hamza Aydoğdu, Commission Chair and AK Party Antalya Deputy Atay Uslu, Erzincan Deputy Süleyman Karaman, CHP Erzincan Deputy Mustafa Sarıgül, and commission members toured areas of the mine site and received information from officials.
Chair Uslu and the commission members, who conducted inspections in the region where the landslide occurred and in various areas of the mine, visited 3 zones and listened to the officials in the relevant areas.
In the information provided to the delegation, officials stated that as part of the removal efforts in the area where the soil slid, trucks have made a total of 195 thousand trips and 3,8 million cubic meters of soil have been moved.
