The Court of Accounts' 2023 audit report has revealed the existence of many structures in the Cappadocia region of Nevşehir that lack zoning permits. It is noteworthy that the demolition orders issued have not been implemented.

According to the Court of Accounts' 2023 audit report, a large number of structures without zoning permits were identified in the Cappadocia region of Nevşehir.

It was stated that although there are demolition orders for these structures, the demolition procedures have not yet been carried out.

DELAYS IN IMPLEMENTATION
The report emphasizes that there are a total of 586 demolition orders issued before and after 2019, but only 166 structures were demolished between 2020 and 2022. It is noted that some of the demolition orders for the remaining 420 structures date back as far as 2016.
This situation creates serious problems regarding the protection and control of structures in the region.
