Located in Tunceli, Munzur Valley National Park draws attention with its untouched nature and water resources.

The national park, which offers different beauties in every season, is home to species such as brown bears, otters, trout, lynx, wolves, wild goats, and badgers.

Officials from the Tunceli Branch of Nature Conservation and National Parks (DKMP) continue their efforts uninterrupted to protect the wildlife in the park.

The teams, who carry out patrol duties at regular intervals, determined that 88 people were fishing using illegal methods during inspections conducted in the national park between January 1 and October 17.

Legal action was taken against these individuals for violating the Fisheries Law, and a fine of 193 thousand 634 lira was imposed. DKMP officials also confiscated 108 fishing nets used for illegal fishing.
