Illegal migrant operation in Bursa: 10 people apprehended
In the Gürsu district of Bursa, 10 illegal migrants, including nationals of Afghanistan, Syria, and Azerbaijan, were apprehended. The illegal migrants were fined and handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for deportation.
Security forces conducted an operation targeting illegal migrants in the Ağaköy neighborhood of Bursa's Gürsu district on December 11 at 10:00.
As a result of the operation, 4 Syrian, 3 Afghan, and 3 Azerbaijani illegal migrants were apprehended.
ADMINISTRATIVE FINES IMPOSED
Administrative fines totaling 122 thousand 470 TL were imposed, with 14 thousand 410 TL per person for the Syrian and Afghan illegal migrants, and 7 thousand 200 TL for the Azerbaijani illegal migrants.
The 10 illegal migrants, aged between 18 and 25, were handed over to the Bursa Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for deportation.
