Illegal migrant operation in İzmir

According to the statement on the Coast Guard Command's website, teams were dispatched to the region after receiving information that there was a group of illegal migrants in a rubber boat off the coast of Menderes.
The teams brought 15 illegal migrants, 8 of whom were children, ashore after they had been pushed back into Turkish territorial waters by Greek elements.
Off the coast of Urla, a group of illegal migrants in a rubber boat was detected by a Coast Guard Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. 33 illegal migrants, 19 of whom were children, were apprehended in the rubber boat stopped by a Coast Guard boat.
With the support of the Alaçatı Gendarmerie Command teams, 4 human smuggling suspects considered to be connected to the incident were detained on land.
On the other hand, 55 illegal migrants, 19 of whom were children, were apprehended in a rubber boat that was also stopped off the coast of Seferihisar.
The illegal migrants were sent to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management after their processing.
