A statement regarding the matter was issued by the Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM), affiliated with the Presidency's Directorate of Communications.
In the statement made by the DMM, it was stated that the claim appearing in some media outlets that "Force commanders did not come on stage despite being invited after President Erdoğan's speech in Malazgirt" does not reflect the truth.
The statement included the following: "Following the speech by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at the Malazgirt Victory anniversary event, the protocol was invited to the stage. It has been determined that our force commanders did indeed come on stage, but remained outside the frame while the footage was being recorded due to the length of the stage. Do not give credence to baseless claims."
