İmamoğlu announces: Families of women imprisoned in IMM case speak out
A documentary has been prepared featuring the families and relatives of women arrested as part of the IMM case. The documentary was announced on Ekrem İmamoğlu's social media account.
Through the Presidential Candidate Office account, IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu announced a documentary prepared with the families and relatives of women who were arrested as part of the operations conducted against the Metropolitan Municipality.
The documentary, titled "What did the families of the detainees go through?", was published on İmamoğlu's YouTube account.
Regarding the documentary, İmamoğlu stated the following on the Presidential Candidate Office's X account:
"They were taken into custody in a dawn raid, held for days in filth, and then arrested without any serious justification provided.
They were sent to very distant prisons so they could not meet with their families and lawyers.
No indictment has been written against them yet.
They are far from their children and families.
The documentary on the female detainees of the March 19 Coup is on my YouTube channel..."
