İmamoğlu announces news with 'good news for Istanbulites' note
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu announced in a post from the Presidential Office that they have taken an important step regarding the zoning issues faced by Istanbul residents.
İmamoğlu stated that attic floors can now be implemented as independent units.
Emphasizing that this is an important step against illegal construction, İmamoğlu announced the video post with the following words:
“I have some good news for Istanbulites. We, as the IMM, have implemented a regulation that we have been working on for a long time. Attic floors can now be used as independent units; the regulation, which will be carried out by adhering to certain design principles without increasing zoning density, will accelerate urban transformation.”
