İmamoğlu: Are you afraid of my image?
Ekrem İmamoğlu, the CHP's presidential candidate who is being held at the Marmara Prison in Silivri, made an assessment regarding today's hearing.
In a message shared on the Presidential Candidate Office's social media account, which included footage of him in the courtroom from previous hearings, İmamoğlu stated the following:
"What are you afraid of? Is it my few seconds of footage in the courtroom, or is it the fact that the truth will emerge in a few minutes? Didn't you say all of Turkey would watch the hearings live on state television?
Didn't you say I would give my account in front of the eyes of 86 million citizens of the Republic of Turkey?
How can those who cannot even tolerate the presence of my lawyers, the press, and my family in a courtroom have the courage to broadcast the hearing on television?"
