İmamoğlu calls for election and ballot box volunteers: He announces his goal

İmamoğlu addressed the youth. Emphasizing democracy, the republic, and justice, İmamoğlu called for the establishment of a broad solidarity network named "Turkey Volunteers" for election security, stating, "Be ready; we will design, think, work, and succeed together." Expressing that citizens must take an active role in election security, İmamoğlu said, "Turkey Volunteers will be the guarantee for election and ballot box day. Our goal is 1 million ballot box volunteers." 

Stating that he values the participation of young people in the process in his message, İmamoğlu said:

"Dear young people, in these days when we are waging the greatest struggle in the history of the Republic of Turkey, I highly value your presence, your determination, and your conscious participation in this struggle. Let us name our struggle. It is a struggle for the republic, democracy, and justice."

"Elections and the ballot box are our greatest power"

Criticizing the Presidential Government System, İmamoğlu stated that elections and the ballot box are the fundamental guarantee of the democratic system and said, "My dear nation, our guarantee is the youth; there are two assets we will take care of and our greatest power with which we will eliminate this great threat: Elections and the ballot box." 

Call for Turkey Volunteers

Proposing the establishment of a broad-based volunteer network across the country to ensure election security, İmamoğlu stated: "It is essential that we succeed in creating an organization that will protect the ballot box day with a supra-party attitude, through a Turkey Volunteers unity, just like the Istanbul Volunteers."

İmamoğlu expressed that ballot box officials should be determined in every school, legal experts should provide support on election day, IT teams should ensure the security of election data, and political parties and non-governmental organizations should act together.

Expressing that citizens must take an active role in election security, İmamoğlu said, "Turkey Volunteers will be the guarantee for election and ballot box day. Our goal is 1 million ballot box volunteers."

Calling on young people to take responsibility in the struggle for democracy, İmamoğlu said:

"Dear young people, the real issue is your responsibility. I believe that by achieving this, you will feel the peace of having taken responsibility for the future of Turkey. Be ready. We will design, think, work, and succeed together."
