İmamoğlu on 'new party' talk: We are politically, spiritually, and physically ready for a path that will accelerate the nation's march

Regarding the appointment of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu to the CHP following the absolute nullity, IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu stated, "The CHP is one; it has been taken hostage by force and has fallen into the hands of those who seek help not from the CHP delegates, but from Erdoğan. The CHP has been occupied by using force, creating dubious judicial processes, and organizing smear campaigns in the media. This operation is the second step of the coup that began on March 19. Its owner is Erdoğan."

Regarding the roadmap they would determine if the path to a party congress is blocked within the CHP, İmamoğlu said, "Nearly a thousand of our delegates have now signed for a congress. We are still working to ensure our congress takes place. However, if the congress, which is the demand of CHP members, is forcibly blocked, we are politically, spiritually, and physically ready for a path that will not only slow down the nation's march but will increasingly accelerate it. I want it to be known that we will not allow another election to be gifted to this government."

Speaking to Ahmet Ayva from İlke TV, Ekrem İmamoğlu said regarding Kılıçdaroğlu's statements on the congress, "The will of our party's delegates has elected our Chairman Özgür Özel as leader.
