Imamoğlu reacts sharply to posts about his wife and family: 'An immorality that has reached the heavens accompanies this lawlessness'

Imamoğlu, who was first detained following investigations conducted against him and then arrested and sent to the Marmara Prison in Silivri, continues to keep his finger on the pulse of the country with posts he makes from there.

Closely following the agenda with his messages regarding political developments, Ekrem İmamoğlu this time made a post about himself.

Stating that the immoral posts made about his wife and family on social media have not ceased and that the complaints and criminal reports he filed on this matter have remained unanswered, İmamoğlu reacted to this indifference.

In his post, İmamoğlu used the following expressions:

I see that;

Despite my warnings to the relevant judicial and law enforcement units, and despite my relevant applications and criminal complaints, immoral posts and attacks against my mother, my wife, and my family continue. The relevant units of our state are not even lifting a finger. An immorality that has reached the heavens accompanies a lawlessness unprecedented in our country's history. Our families, our spirituality, and our values are being attacked in an organized manner.

You have arrested our country's bright, shining youth with your hatred and ambition; because the conspiracy case you fabricated is hollow, you are trying to turn people into secret witnesses and perjurers through threats and blackmail; even though there is a confidentiality order, you are having immoral trolls make posts first-hand; you are having the media you feed by recklessly using the resources belonging to our state and nation broadcast lies and slander morning and night; you have become so immoral that you are blinded to the point of attacking my family; this means you are in a very, very difficult situation. You are in a pitiful state.

Our great-hearted nation has repelled your civil coup and will also deliver the slap of democracy at the ballot box. We will build the system that befits our nation and our state tradition; a virtuous, democratic, and fair order, together with our nation. In this struggle, even your fellow travelers who have supported you for years despite all your mistakes will abandon you and they, too, will deliver the slap of democracy to you, rest assured.
