Imamoglu rift in AKP: Former MP faces expulsion shock after criticizing Erdogan
Former AKP MP Hüseyin Kocabıyık, who reacted to the detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, has been referred to the Central Disciplinary Board with a request for permanent expulsion.

Former AKP Izmir MP Hüseyin Kocabıyık had reacted to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan due to the operation launched against İmamoğlu.
In his post, Kocabıyık stated, "Recep Tayyip Erdoğan… Was this the future we were aiming for? Is this what we fought for? Is this why we spent years dragging through courts? You have actually staged a coup against yourself, and you don't even know it!"

It has been learned that former AKP Izmir MP Hüseyin Kocabıyık has been referred to the AKP Central Disciplinary Board with a decision for "permanent expulsion with precautionary measures."
