The 92nd day of the hearing has begun in the IMM case involving 436 defendants, including the detained Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
In the trial held by the Istanbul 33rd High Criminal Court in the courtroom opposite Silivri Prison, 57 of the defendants are being tried while in custody.
During the hearing, it is anticipated that the remaining 27 of the 325 non-custodial defendants expected to present their defense will be heard. Following the completion of these statements, it is planned that 29 individuals added to the file via a supplementary indictment will also be heard during the week.
Following these proceedings, Ekrem İmamoğlu is also expected to present his defense. It is stated that the trial process will continue with the defendants' statements and the testimonies of the new individuals added to the case file.
