Imamoglu's 'early election' call to Erdogan with striking remarks: 'Don't you worry at all'

While CHP Chairman Ozgur Ozel continues to call for an early election from AKP Chairman and President Erdogan at rallies held for Imamoglu, this time an early election call has come from IBB Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu.

Listing the mistakes and problems during the Erdogan era, Imamoglu concluded his list by calling for an early election with the words, 'it is time for you to go.'

You are the one who opened up forests, agricultural lands, and water basins five times the size of Beylikduzu to rent-seeking under the name of "Talan Istanbul" (Plunder Istanbul) without even explaining to whom they were sold.

You are the one who rendered the state's deep-rooted institution, the DSI, dysfunctional and signed off on tens of billions of liras in public loss with the Melen Dam, which could not be completed for 13 years.

You are the one who took no precautions and could not intervene in the fires, even though we warned you repeatedly with our metropolitan mayors in 2021 against the risk of global warming and major forest fires.
