Imamoglu's explosive 'Escobar order' statement! 'It has become clear who established it...'
Reacting to the arrest of Bayrampaşa Mayor Hasan Mutlu and the resignations in the municipal council, imprisoned IMM President Ekrem Imamoglu stated, "It has become clear who established the 'Escobar order.' It has emerged who is hiding the biggest turnip in their bag. It has also become clear who established the network of lawlessness that wraps its arms around everything like an octopus."
Bayrampaşa Mayor Hasan Mutlu and 19 others, including 8 CHP municipal council members, were arrested as part of an investigation into corruption allegations against the Bayrampaşa Municipality. Following the operation, 4 municipal council members resigned, and the CHP lost its majority in the municipal council.
Ekrem Imamoglu, the CHP's presidential candidate and the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), who has been imprisoned in Silivri Prison since March 23, issued a harsh statement regarding the matter through his lawyers.
Imamoglu's statement was shared on the social media account named the Presidential Candidate Office. Emphasizing that an 'Escobar order' has been established with the operation against the Bayrampaşa Municipality, Imamoglu noted the following in his statement:

Our Bayrampaşa Mayor Hasan Mutlu and his colleagues were also imprisoned by the same order. The people of Bayrampaşa will never forget this evil.
