İmamoğlu's 'fake diploma' outcry
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has expressed his outrage on social media regarding the issue of fake diplomas and the cancellation of his own diploma.
In a post on his social media account, İmamoğlu stated the following:
"In Turkey, fake diplomas have been registered in e-Devlet with fake e-signatures, and no one was even aware of it. The scale of the scandal is frightening, but for the government, all that matters is my diploma and my presidential candidacy.
While the judiciary is busy obstructing the rights of the president elected by the people, forgery has run rampant. This picture shows that the real problem is injustice.
But it won't be long now; the judicial order that serves as an apparatus of politics, as well as the image of a Turkey where forgers run wild, will come to an end, and this rot will cease.
FOR EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE
JUSTICE FIRST
FREEDOM FIRST"
