IMM Fire Department Head Remzi Albayrak released under judicial control
As part of an investigation into public officials working at the Bayrampaşa Municipality, suspects Bekir Önder and İbrahim Amedi were arrested on charges of 'bribery,' while Hakan Köse and Remzi Albayrak were released under judicial control with a travel ban.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into public officialsworking at the Bayrampaşa Municipality and certainindividuals regardingallegations of 'embezzlement,' 'extortion,' 'givingbribes,' 'receivingbribes'and 'rigging tenders' ascrimes.conducted bythe investigation proceeds.
Withinthe scope of the investigation, IMM FireDepartment Head Remzi Albayrak, who was taken into custody, and CHP Bayrampaşa DistBekir Önder, who worked in the Management ofbusinessman İbrahim Amedi and driverHakan Köse, following theirprocessing at the police station, weretransferred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan.
Thesuspects Bekir Önder and İbrahim Amedi was arrested. Hakan Köse and Remzi Albayrak were subject to atravel ban and released under judicial control.
