AKP Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tahir Büyükakın targeted Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu during his speech at his party's 6th Ordinary General Assembly in Başiskele, saying, "Remember, İmamoğlu had a 'fool' case. RESPONSE FROM İMAMOĞLU TO BÜYÜKAKIN

Responding to Büyükakın's remarks during a speech in Hatay, İmamoğlu said, "I hope we come face to face with him as soon as possible. When I made that speech, he was the first person to shake my hand and congratulate me."

İmamoğlu stated the following:
