IMM to provide transportation support to 22 thousand students
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality will provide transportation support to university students. 22 thousand 522 students will receive 381 TL in monthly transportation support. The first payment of the support will be made in February and will continue until the end of 2025.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) continues its 15 thousand TL educational support to 100 thousand university students through its 'Young University Student Education Support' project. Cash support is provided by evaluating the financial need of associate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students who reside in Istanbul themselves or whose families reside in Istanbul.

TRANSPORTATION SUPPORT TO BE PROVIDED
In addition to this, transportation support will be provided to 22 thousand 522 students who applied for the 'Young University Student Education Support' but did not make it into the first 100 thousand students. No separate application will be opened for the Young University Student Transportation (blue subscription) Support; evaluations will be made from among the Young University Student applications.

FIRST PAYMENT IN FEBRUARY
According to the statement made by IMM, within the scope of the practice initiated to support the transportation expenses of university students residing in Istanbul, a monthly student subscription support of 381 TL will be provided to 22 thousand 522 students until the end of 2025.

The support will be loaded onto the students' Istanbulkarts as a monthly subscription. The first payments will be made during the month of February.
