Imamoğlu post shared from MHP's Feti Yıldız's account: He deleted it first, then explained
MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız made a noteworthy post on the social media platform X.
Yıldız shared a newspaper headline featuring imprisoned presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu on his X account. Feti Yıldız's post included the March 11 headline from the Sözcü newspaper.
The headline read, "İmamoğlu challenged the indictment, calling it a 'slander-ment': I am still standing."
DELETED SHORTLY AFTER
Yıldız deleted the post in question from his account a few minutes later.
After the post became a trending topic on social media in a short time, Yıldız made a new statement.
Feti Yıldız stated that his advisor had made the post by mistake:
"My advisor accidentally shared the front page of Sözcü Newspaper while trying to share a long text on X. That is all there is to the matter."
