Important statement from RTÜK regarding local elections! 'As of tonight...'
RTÜK Chairman Ebubekir Şahin announced that, in accordance with the decisions of the Supreme Election Council (YSK), political advertisements will be prohibited from 11:59 PM tonight until election day.

Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) Chairman Ebubekir Şahin made an important statement regarding the local elections.
Sharing on his X (Twitter) account, Şahin announced that, in accordance with the decisions of the Supreme Election Council (YSK), the broadcasting of political advertisements is prohibited from 11:59 PM today (March 29) until election day.
Şahin used the following expressions;
"Our valued broadcaster friends, in accordance with YSK decisions, the broadcasting of political advertisements is prohibited from 11:59 PM TODAY until election day. Furthermore, media service provider organizations will be able to broadcast the oral, written, and visual propaganda activities of political parties and candidates participating in the election until 6:00 PM TOMORROW. We remind you of this with importance."
