Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan paid an official visit to Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.
While there, Fidan met with Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein.
Following the visit, Fidan and Hussein held a joint press conference.
In his statement at the meeting, Fidan said: "(Turkey-Iraq-Syria) We must combine all our resources to eliminate both DAESH and the PKK. Our ultimate expectation from Iraq is for it to recognize the PKK, which it has already declared a banned organization, as a terrorist organization as well."
