Important warning from Sedef Kabaş: Those responsible for disinformation are not being prosecuted
Journalist and author Sedef Kabaş drew attention to disinformation campaigns conducted to ensure the continuation of the government, stating that those responsible for such manipulative content are not being brought to justice.
In a post on her social media account regarding the issue, Sedef Kabaş recalled that in the past, edited videos were prepared claiming a CHP bus had run over police officers, fake footage was circulated showing Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu at İmralı, and the phrase "tell big lies," attributed to Hitler's propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels, was edited to appear as if she had said it herself.
CAUSING PERCEPTION OPERATIONS IN SOCIETY
Kabaş stated that such disinformation is clearly visible and causes perception operations within society. Despite this, she emphasized that no legal action has been taken against those responsible for this content.
Journalist and author Sedef Kabaş stated, "We are facing the most severe examples of disinformation, yet no lawsuits are being filed, nor are those responsible being held accountable."
