"Bayrampaşa Deputy Mayor Lütfi Kadıoğulları has been imprisoned since 16/09/2025.
During his time in detention, he has been referred to Silivri State Hospital many times, including to internal medicine, cardiovascular surgery, and cardiology departments. Because he is over 70 years old, his ailments have further increased during his time in detention.
Due to the increasing effects of Myasthenia Gravis, a muscle disease originating from the brainstem, he went to the Neurology and Neurosurgery department of Silivri State Hospital for an examination on 30/01/2026.
An MRI was also performed on 06/02/2026. The progression of this condition will cause speech and swallowing disorders as well as loss of balance."
