A new fraud method spreading rapidly on the internet continues to deceive people. Using the names of courier companies, especially well-known ones like PTT, UPS, and DHL, messages are sent to victims as if a package of theirs is on the way. These messages inform the recipient that the cargo is out for delivery and is on its way to their address. However, when the link in the message is clicked, things change and the scammers step in.

BEWARE OF INCOMING EMAILS

In this fraud method, the sent email usually contains messages such as 'Your package is on the way' or 'You need to make a payment for your delivery'. Some people trust these emails and click on the provided link, handing over their personal information, credit card details, or passwords to the scammers.

If an incoming email contains a cargo tracking or payment request, you should not click on the link without verifying the email and should perform official tracking through reliable websites.
