Indictment prepared in Serdar Öktem murder: Striking names in the file

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has completed its investigation into the murder of MHP-affiliated lawyer Serdar Öktem, who lost his life as a result of an armed attack while driving in traffic in the direction of the Bosphorus Bridge on Büyükdere Street in Şişli on October 6, 2025.

According to the report by Ceylan Sever from Habertürk, the prepared indictment states that the assassination was jointly planned by the "Daltonlar" criminal organization, led by Beratcan Gökdemir, who is currently imprisoned in Russia, and the "Gündoğmuşlar" criminal organization, led by Uğurcan Gündoğmuş, who has fled abroad.

BACKGROUND OF THE ASSASSINATION

The indictment notes that the attack was not only aimed at the target individual but also intended to intimidate Hamuş Atız (İsmail Atız), leader of the "Casperlar" criminal organization, and Zuhat Altunç, leader of the "Çirkinler" criminal organization.

In the organizational chart created by the prosecution, it was stated that Naci Yılmaz, known to the public as "Siirtli Naci," was at the top as the instigator.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

According to the information in the indictment, there are two main criminal organizations in the structure, "Daltonlar" and "Gündoğmuşlar," and these two structures acted together for the assassination.

DETAILS IN THE INDICTMENT

The details in the indictment, announced by Ceylan Sever on her X account, are as follows:

"An organizational chart was also drawn up in the indictment. According to the chart, Naci Yılmaz, known to the public as 'Siirtli Naci,' was at the top of the structure as the instigator. Below him were two main criminal organizations, the Daltonlar and the Gündoğmuşlar. The Gündoğmuşlar criminal organization was led by Uğurcan Gündoğmuş. Furkan Kalıma was among the managers within the organization.

The operational staff included names such as Sidar Öz, Semih Aydın, Devran Yıldırım, Samet Alperen Söğütlü, and Erkan Kan. The leader of the Daltonlar criminal organization was Beratcan Gökdemir. The management staff of the organization included Batıncan Gökdemir, Murat Küçükyavuz, Mustafa Aktürk, and Ali Gülmalizada. The field and hitman staff included Ejder Parlak, Yusuf Karaoğuz, Cengizhan Üzümcü, Faruk Efe, and Muhammet Kaplan. These two organizations formed an alliance and acted together for the Öktem assassination.

According to the indictment, Daltonlar Armed Criminal Organization managers Murat Küçükyavuz, Ali Gulmalizada, Mustafa Aktürk, and Gündoğmuşlar Criminal Organization manager Furkan Kalıma, along with other organization members, prepared for another action against Serdar Öktem. They kept the vehicles they procured ready for the action. Subsequently, they ensured the participation of Sidar Öz and Semih Aydın, who are members of the Gündoğmuşlar Criminal Organization, as well as Ali Gulmalizada, in the criminal organization.

The organization members, who were brought to Istanbul from Gaziantep 10 days before the attack, were placed in a safe house in Esenyurt. When the HTS data and statements of the suspects regarding the period up to the date of the incident were examined, it was found that the organization members, who left the safe house to carry out an action against Serdar Öktem, went to the location of Serdar Öktem's home and workplace several times between September 30, 2025, and October 6, 2025, to conduct reconnaissance. They attempted the attack but failed each time."
