Individual unable to tolerate imam's prayer for Atatürk provokes Friday prayers

The individual, who saw the imam praying for Atatürk, left the mosque and made severe insults against Atatürk in a video he recorded and a message he wrote.

The individual, who claimed to have provoked the prayer, recorded a video after leaving the mosque describing his actions and made posts on social media insulting Atatürk.

In the video, it is notable that the individual, whose face is not visible, confesses to assaulting a person who stood up to them, while the person filming the video, in addition to insulting Atatürk in his social media posts, did not refrain from calling those who prayed "infidels" and hurling insults at them in the video.

The individual, who used expressions such as, "We left the mosque shouting that prayers are not said for an infidel, thank God. The head of the snake has been cut off; we will topple his statues and drag them like a dog's carcass," and for whom an arrest warrant was issued, was taken into custody in the evening hours.
