Individual who insulted Atatürk in Adana arrested
A suspect who insulted the Founder of the Republic, the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, has been arrested in Adana. It was revealed that the individual cursed while looking at a portrait of Atatürk in a veterinary clinic.
A suspect who insulted the Founder of the Republic, the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, has been arrested in Adana.
B.Y. (53) took the cat he and his family keep at home to a veterinary clinic in the Güzelyalı neighborhood. It is alleged that B.Y. first insulted his wife, claiming that too much money was being spent on the cats.
Upon being warned by veterinary technician M.N.Ş., B.Y. then began cursing while looking at a portrait of Atatürk in the workplace. M.N.Ş., who recorded the incident on a mobile phone, filed a complaint against the suspect B.Y.
The suspect, who was taken into custody by teams from the Provincial Security Directorate, was arrested by the on-duty judgeship at the courthouse to which he was referred following his processing at the police station.
