Individuals who launched cyberattack on HGS apprehended
Two cyber attackers who sent abusive notifications to Fast Pass System (HGS) users have been apprehended. One of the attackers was taken into custody in Denizli, and the other in Mersin. One of the suspects stated in his testimony that they carried out the attack as a joke.

One of the attackers, who sent abusive notifications via PTT's HGS mobile application and then attempted to blackmail users for money, stated in his testimony, 'We did it as a joke.'
The operation was conducted jointly by the National Intelligence Organization (MİT), the National Cyber Incident Response Center (USOM), the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK), and Gendarmerie units.
As a result of the operations, the teams apprehended Burak K., who used the alias 'Klew', in Denizli, and Veli B., nicknamed 'Hades', in Mersin.
