Following a tip-off that a user named Sarem Uysal was sharing obscene videos across multiple social media platforms and posting follow-up videos on a Telegram account to earn money, and that children were among the followers, teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Public Security Branch reported the situation to the prosecutor's office.
MY MONTHLY INCOME IS 100 THOUSAND TL
The Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office detained 23-year-old Yıldız H., who shared obscene images on social media under the name Sarem Uysal. It was learned that the woman, who previously worked as a nurse, had a monthly income of one hundred thousand lira. Following an investigation into her seized mobile phone, it was revealed that she had shared numerous photos and videos containing obscene content and had generated illicit income by sharing her IBAN information. In her statement, Yıldız H. claimed that she reached a large following within 3 months, and while she admitted that the images and photos showing her face belonged to her, she alleged that fake social media accounts had been opened in her name.
200 DOLLARS PER VIDEO
Stating that she has an Onlyfans account where she shares sexually explicit videos, Yıldız H. said, "I charge 200 dollars per video. Those who are not members and do not pay cannot see them. However, the Telegram account does not belong to me. The IBAN information is mine, but my content from Onlyfans was shared on other social media platforms without my consent."
The prosecutor's office stated that the suspect, Yıldız H., shared semi-nude photos on her social media accounts and that children following her also saw this content. Determining that children could freely enter and access the social media platform, the prosecutor's office requested her arrest for the crime of "mediating the publication of obscene content." After her statement to the prosecutor, Yıldız H. was referred to the court and was arrested and sent to prison.
