Inheritance dispute ends in bloodshed: Young man killed by his uncle

The incident took place at midnight in Koru Village.

A disagreement arose between H.A. and his brother Y.A. over a village house inherited from their parents, which they had been unable to divide for a long time.

COULD NOT CONTROL HIS ANGER AND OPENED FIRE

The two brothers, who had been at odds for months due to the ongoing inheritance dispute, argued again over the same issue at midnight. Unable to control his anger during the fight, Y.A. opened fire with a rifle at his brother and nephew. 28-year-old Atilla Adar lost his life at the scene due to the fire opened by his uncle Y.A., while Atilla Adar's father was also wounded by the same gunfire.

28-YEAR-OLD YOUNG MAN LOST HIS LIFE

Upon the notification of villagers who heard the gunshots used in the fight, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. When the 112 Emergency Service teams arrived at the village and determined that 28-year-old Atilla Adar had lost his life, they transported his wounded father, H.A., to Milas State Hospital.

SUSPECT SURRENDERED TO THE GENDARMERIE

While the suspect Y.A., who killed his nephew and wounded his older brother by using a weapon in the fight, surrendered to the gendarmerie along with his weapon, Atilla Adar's body was taken to the Muğla Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy following the crime scene investigation.

An investigation has been launched into the incident, which has been taken over by the Public Prosecutor's Office.
