Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced: 2,554 fugitives captured, 12 of whom had been wanted for over 10 years
In a statement on his social media account, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 2,554 fugitives were captured in operations conducted across Turkey as part of the "Heroes Operations."

Yerlikaya stated the following:
"As part of the 'Heroes operations,' 2,554 fugitives with active arrest warrants were captured in operations conducted across all of Turkey!
Among the captured individuals:
It was determined that 12 had been wanted for more than 10 years, 91 had been wanted for between 5 and 10 years, and 2,451 had been wanted for between 0 and 5 years. I congratulate our police and Gendarmerie who carried out the operations. We will not allow fugitive criminals to roam our streets. We are determined to catch them and deliver them to justice!"
