Interior Minister Çiftçi: Our duty is to build the century of peace

Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi met with organization members at the AKP and MHP Bayburt Provincial Presidencies as part of his contacts in Bayburt.

Speaking at the AKP Provincial Presidency, Çiftçi stated that his contacts in Bayburt were productive and expressed his pleasure in meeting with the organizations and citizens.

"Bayburt is a peaceful city"

Stating that one of their most important priorities in line with the goals of the Century of Turkey is to further strengthen peace and security, Minister Çiftçi said, "Our duty in the Century of Turkey is to build the century of peace."

Expressing that Bayburt is one of the most peaceful cities in Turkey in terms of public order incidents, drugs, cybercrimes, irregular migration, and terrorism, Çiftçi thanked the personnel of the Provincial Security Directorate and the Provincial Gendarmerie Command who contributed to this success.

"We will continue our fight against all types of crime"

Stating that security forces are working tirelessly to protect Turkey's peace, Minister Çiftçi said, "We will exert all our efforts in the fight against new-generation criminal organizations, the fight against drugs, the fight against cybercrimes, the fight against irregular migration, and the fight against terrorism. We will work by turning our nights into days with all the effort we can muster to ensure our country is safer."

Çiftçi noted that they will continue to work in coordination with all institutions to protect the environment of peace and security in every corner of Turkey.

Stating that Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler closely follows the problems of Bayburt, Çiftçi said, "Our Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler is from Bayburt. He also takes a close interest in every kind of problem in Bayburt."

Stating that he had a phone conversation with Minister Güler, Çiftçi noted that they evaluated the work carried out to meet the needs of Bayburt.

Minister Çiftçi thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Ministry of National Defense, the Bayburt Governorship, the Bayburt Municipality, the member of parliament, and the organization members for their support.
