Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi: May the Lord grant me the Governorship of Jerusalem

Interior Minister Çiftçi attended the AKP Çorum Provincial Presidency Advisory Meeting held at the Çorum Chamber of Commerce and Industry conference hall.

In his speech there, Çiftçi said that they had been waiting for a hero for many years, and that this hero is President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who lifted the noble Turkish nation back up and broke the chains of Hagia Sophia.

Emphasizing that Turkey has covered great distances, Çiftçi also revealed a dream he has had for many years.

Minister Mustafa Çiftçi stated the following:

"Our path is still long; God willing, we will also see the Red Apple in the skies. Just as we saw the liberation of Damascus, Aleppo, and Karabakh, God willing, one day we will also see the liberation of Jerusalem.

I had a prayer to the Almighty while I was a governor. As you know, after serving as governor here for 5 years, I was appointed to Erzurum. I served there for 2.5 years as well. My prayer was this: May the Lord grant me the Governorship of Jerusalem, even if only for one day.

I believe that the Almighty will show us those days, He will surely show them. I have believed this with all my heart, and I continue to believe it.

Just as in the past, those places will be ours again. God willing, they will come under our government's administration again. Because we have a global leader like Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at our head. We have a very great leader."
