Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, who shares footage of operations on his social media account, has this time released images of the moment the individual who drew the controversial cartoon was taken into custody.
Following the publication of the cartoon in Leman magazine, a decision was made to recall that issue of the magazine.
Yerlikaya shared the video with the following words:
"I once again condemn those who try to sow seeds of discord by creating a cartoon of our Prophet (PBUH).
The individual named D.P., who created this vile drawing, has been apprehended and taken into custody.
I reiterate once again:
These shameless individuals will be held accountable before the law."
