In a statement issued by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that, "An ex officio investigation has been launched into those who made posts containing criminal elements or offenses directed at our soldiers who were martyred in operations carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces against terrorist organizations on the social media site Ekşi Sözlük."
