Investigation launched into Mustafa Varank following coffee video

AKP deputy Mustafa Varank, who reacted to the Espressolab boycott, had shared footage from the business. The Ministry of Trade has launched a 'covert advertising' investigation into Varank. Varank announced the investigation via his social media account.

Mustafa Varank stated the following in his post on the social media platform:

'In line with complaints and my own request, the Ministry of Trade's Advertising Board has launched an investigation regarding my post and has sent me questions to be answered.

It is already known to the public that the post was not for advertising purposes, but was made against the CHP Chairman's hostile, discriminatory, and fascist political stance toward domestic brands.

However, in order for everyone to understand the difference between this action and covert advertising in exchange for financial gain, I will submit the answers and information requested in our Ministry's investigation within the specified time and will transparently share the result with the public. I thank the Ministry of Trade for their sensitivity.'
