Investigation launched into patient who died in private hospital waiting area
The Ministry of Health announced that an administrative investigation has been launched by the Provincial Health Directorate following the death of a patient in the emergency room waiting area of a private hospital in Aydın, and that a criminal complaint has been filed with judicial authorities regarding the incident.
In a post shared on the Ministry's "Sağlıklı Çözüm" social media account, it was stated that it was deemed necessary to provide an update regarding the death of a patient in the emergency room waiting area of a private hospital in Aydın.
The statement, which reported that an administrative investigation was launched into the incident following an extraordinary on-site inspection by the Aydın Provincial Health Directorate, noted the following:
"In addition to the administrative investigation, a criminal complaint has been filed with judicial authorities so that the incident can also be evaluated from a legal perspective.
As the Ministry of Health, we are meticulously following the administrative and judicial investigation process, and we will continue to provide the necessary updates on the matter."
