Investigation launched into Pınar Aydınlar for displaying Seyit Rıza poster at IBB concert
An ex officio investigation has been launched into folk music artist Pınar Aydınlar for the crime of "praising a crime and a criminal."
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has taken action following the display of a poster of Seyit Rıza and the use of laudatory expressions by Pınar Aydınlar, who performed at the "Tunceli Cultural Meetings" program organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) at the Yenikapı Event Area.

The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an ex officio investigation into Aydınlar and the relevant officials for the crime of "praising a crime and a criminal."

It has emerged that Pınar Aydınlar previously performed concerts in front of posters of terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan.
