Investigation launched into Arzum Elektrikli Ev Aletleri: Competition Board announces

According to the statement published on the Competition Board's official website, a preliminary investigation was conducted following allegations that Arzum violated the Law on the Protection of Competition by determining the prices of resellers and restricting online sales. The Board stated that the findings obtained were deemed sufficient to initiate an investigation.

It was stated that allegations regarding Arzum interfering with the prices of resellers and preventing distributors from making active and passive sales would be examined. In this context, it was noted that the company would be investigated to determine whether it violated the law through these practices.

The Board stated that it would initiate legal proceedings if deemed necessary based on the results to be obtained. Arzum Elektrikli Ev Aletleri is known to have a significant share in the small home appliances sector in Turkey.

Finding the evidence obtained during the examinations sufficient, the Board ruled to open an investigation to determine whether Arzum Elektrikli Ev Aletleri Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ violated the law by interfering with the prices of sellers and preventing distributors from making active and passive sales to sellers to whom the company makes direct sales.
