The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an ex officio investigation into astrologer Meral Güven for the crime of "inciting the public to hatred and hostility or insulting" under Article 216 of the Turkish Penal Code (TCK), regarding the remarks made in a live video recording.
