Investigation launched into YouTuber Diamond Tema

A debate on the YouTube channel "Yer6" between Asrın Tok, who defends Sharia, and a user named Diamond Tema, who opposes Sharia, had become a trending topic on social media platforms.

Aslan Değirmenci, Digital Media Coordinator for the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, announced that they have requested the removal of the program from broadcast.

He also announced that an investigation has been launched into Diamond Tema for the crimes of insulting a segment of the public and insulting religious values, as regulated under Article 216, paragraphs 2 and 3 of the Turkish Penal Code (TCK).

YOUTUBER DIAMOND TEMA ISSUED A STATEMENT
