Iraqi Turkmen Front President Hasan Turan has announced his resignation from the position he has held for approximately four years.
In a written statement, Turan said, "As of today, April 13, 2025, I have resigned from my position as President of the Iraqi Turkmen Front."
Wishing the new president success, Turan expressed that he is ready to provide support to the person who will take over the role at any time.
In the remainder of his statement, he noted that he will continue to defend the Turkmen cause and protect the integrity of Iraq with the same conviction, remaining loyal to the fundamental principles of the Iraqi Turkmen Front.
